Slamm Phantom II 2014

We are Super excited to introduce our completely redesigned Phantom II scooter!

This awesome new scooter is aimed at the mid to advanced level rider and is jam packed with awesome features, including our completely new deck design never seen in the Slamm product range before! The clean stylish graphics compliment it’s deep candy purple deck coating with metallic fleck, all finished off with a great blend of matt black and electric blue detail. We think you’ll not only love the way this scooter looks, but will especially love the way it performs!

Our all-new deck shape, along with all of the other key features, are explained in more detail below and we think you’ll agree that this scooter offers a massive bang for your buck!

Did we mention the Phantom II is nearly 100% aluminium, except for some small hardware parts? Makes for only 3.8kg of scooter! Light enough to swing around but heavy enough to feel where it is! We’re sure you're going to love our new creation!

EXTRUDED NECK:
Our custom connector is cut from one piece of extruded aluminium, meaning there are no welds to contend with, giving guaranteed alignment and strength between the head tube and connector. The smooth, sleek shape will make you the envy of all your friends! The key internal support walls that give this connector its strength are far too tasty to cover up, so we have left them exposed for all to see. Not capping the connector off not only looks good, but it also helps keep the weight down and gives you easier access to keep your scooter clean!

LIGHTWEIGHT BOX DECK:
Our all-new box channel deck has been in development with our team of designers for some time now and what better scooter to launch this deck on than our sleekest looking scooter to date! This great new deck is wider and longer. The 3° of concave keeps your feet locked in place and gives a great edge and feel to the deck, with the weight being kept to a minimum. The flat sidewalls are finger flip friendly and having the deck almost completely boxed maximises the grind area. That combined with our new grind channel and beveled edges means that wobbly grinds and catching edges are a distant memory!
FORGED FORK:
All metals have a 'grain' or direction of material flow, much like wood. Forging allows us to disrupt this flow by compressing the material tightly together, making a much stronger finish. The precise CNC cutting and polishing before finishing produces an ultra-strong, one-piece precision fork for your riding pleasure!
This fork is threadless so you can run your choice of performance headsets, plus it’s designed to run with our custom IHC; included with all premium models!

VICE CLAMP:
This great new two bolt clamp covers almost the same surface area of a triple clamp and, thanks to the clever slots cut in the front, the clamp can flex more, improving the tightening performance and keeping your bars securely locked in place! The steel kingpin and bolt setup also help better tightening forces to be applied as well as minimising de-threading and the bolts seizing up, which nobody wants to deal with.
Not only does it look great and perform better than your standard clamp but it’s also lighter!

HEADSET:
NECO is one of the best and most well known headset suppliers in the world so we run their headsets on ALL of our scooters.
The semi-sealed headsets on the Phantom II models are pressed in the headtube and the inner bearings are secured in place by the steel race and Nylon locking ring. The steel race simulates a fully sealed cartridge bearing, meaning they run straight, keeping them smooth and fast. The Nylon ring fixes it all securely in place, helping to keep dirt out and lubricant in.

The stripped back design and liquid coating of the Phantom II gives it a premium edge and, with lightweight features across the whole scooter, it weighs in at only 3.8kg!
